3. Ulsoor Lake

A lovely boat ride in the Tranquil waters of the ‘Ulsoor lake‘ giving respite from the blazing heat of the afternoon sun is sure to give you a delightful experience. Located very next to the Divine Kote Venkataramanaswamy temple, this Historic monument supported by classical Teak wooden pillars stands as an Indo-Sarcenic architectural genius in the heart of the city of Bangalore. 6. Pyramid Valley

7. HAL Aerospace Museum

The house of Karnataka’s State legislative assembly, “The Vidhana Soudha” and the center of Justice of the city, “The Attara Kacheri ” are two monumental buildings standing right in the heart of the City. The Neo Dravidian styleVidhana Soudha constructed using only pure Granite and Porphyry is an architectural genius of Sri Kengal Hanumantaiah, the second Chief Minister of the state of Karnataka. This magnificent building houses a central dome sixty feet in diameter supported by eight huge pillars and is breathtakingly amazing when it is fully illuminated.

9. Dodda Aalada Mara – Big Banyan Tree

A ‘Natural Wonder ‘ and a place with an amazing charm, this spot is one of the lesser known places for one day sightseeing in Bangalore. This is a single ‘Big Banyan tree’ which is over 400 years over and spread across an area of around 3 acres. With a crown diameter of more than 80 meters and more than one thousand aerial roots, this huge tree offers cool shade and wonderful sight of greenery all around.
